Guest Co-Editors Jinrong Li and Mimi Li are currently seeking proposals for the Journal of Second Language Writing 2022 special issue on L2 writing assessment in the digital age. This special issue aims to provide a collection of conceptual papers and empirical studies that explore theoretical, methodological, and pedagogical approaches to L2 writing assessment in response to the development of digital technologies. It will examine how technology and new forms of writing intersect with assessment practices to facilitate L2 students’ writing development. Abstracts are due January 1, 2021.
