AAAL Statement About the War in Ukraine

The American Association for Applied Linguistics is deeply concerned about the escalating humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and surrounding countries. We express our solidarity with those people and communities who have been displaced, injured, or killed in this war. Beyond solidarity, actions are important. AAAL members wishing to assist the growing number of refugees can find links to organizations (NGOs) on our website to which donations can be made. AAAL stands firm in its commitment to the peaceful and just resolution of world conflicts, wherever they may be.
