AILA Member. Membership is available to those individuals who are members of another AILA member and whose primary identity comes from the AILA affiliate, not AAAL (i.e. not a US citizen or resident). Annual dues are $110. View Member Benefits

Solidarity Level 1
Resident of Low Income Country. Please look up your country in the World Bank classification of economies to find out if you qualify for one of two solidarity membership rates that AAAL extends to members residing in low income economies. Solidarity Discount (1): Membership is waived ($0) for those individuals who reside in a “low-income economy” or a “lower-middle-income economy” country. Please note residence in a country is the qualifying criterion for both solidarity memberships. That is, international students studying/residing in a high-income country (e.g., the U.S.) should pay the student membership fee, regardless of what country they are originally from; and faculty or students from high-income countries who are employed/studying in an institution in a low-income country are entitled to the solidarity rate for which that country qualifies.
Solidarity Level 2
