Governance
AAAL is governed primarily by Bylaws which can be amended only by the general membership. Second, the AAAL Executive Committee reviews and revises as necessary a set of Standing Rules which specify operational matters. Third, AAAL is also working to implement goals and initiatives as outlined in the Strategic Plan completed in October 2013. Finally, the Executive Committee makes the approved minutes from its meetings available for members.
