Hmong Youth Critically (Re)presenting Selves in a Co-Ethnic Theatre Program​

Arts programs afford opportunities for youth to examine their world, but there is a dearth of research on how immigrant youth explore cultural marginalization through multimodal literacies. This critical ethnography focuses on the culturally relevant practices of a theatre program involving Hmong immigrant youth to illuminate youths’ multimodal (re)presentations of selves.
