Call for Papers: English Teaching & Learning
Special Issue on New Directions in English Teaching and Learning Research

To celebrate its 40 years of publication in 2016, English Teaching & Learning will publish a special issue on New Directions in English Teaching and Learning Research. Therefore, the editorial board would like to invite papers that explore new directions or future development in research on the teaching and learning of English as an additional language. The topics listed below are some possible areas of interest to the journal readership. We would like to invite ELT scholars to contribute articles focusing on one of the topics. Papers submitted for inclusion in this special issues should be submitted by July 31 to be peer reviewed. The papers that completed the review process will be published in the fourth issue of Volume 40.

Articles can be up to 10,000 words in length and must adhere to the APA format. Articles will be peer reviewed, and will be judged on their local and global significance. All submissions must follow the submission guidelines specified on the journal website (http://www.etl.url.tw/submissions.php). Manuscripts can be submitted online at http://aspers.airiti.com/etl or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All articles will be blind reviewed. An invitation to submit a paper to the special issue in no way guarantees that the paper will be published. Publication is dependent on the review results.

English Teaching & Learning (ETL) is a scholarly journal dedicated to research on the teaching and learning of English as a second or foreign language. It aims to publish quality papers that contribute to all aspects of the profession, particularly those seeking to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The journal is housed in the Department of English at National Taiwan Normal University and published by Airiti Press. It is the best journal in the field of TESOL in Taiwan and is currently indexed in THCI-Core, Scopus, the MLA International Bibliography, EBSCOhost (Education Research Complete) and Google Scholar.
