OUR THANKS! The 2003 conference is now
over. We are grateful to all who participated and hope that you found
it a very worthwhile experience in spite of the stressful time during
which we convened. See you in Portland for AAAL 2004! |
Conference Profile
The AAAL annual conference has a national and international reputation as one of the most comprehensive and stimulating language conferences. The 2003 conference --"The Diversity of Applied Linguistics"-- will be held in Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. Here we will generate ideas, cross disciplinary boundaries, and disseminate research about issues and concerns in language policy, language acquisition, language pedagogy, translation and interpretation, and other areas of applied linguistics. The conference is known for its in-depth colloquia and paper sessions, topical and thought-provoking plenaries, and access to the latest publications via the book exhibit. It provides networking opportunities among established and new professionals. We look forward to your participation at AAAL 2003 in Arlington!
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING OPENING/CLOSING
