Guidelines
for Web Submission
All proposals for the 2003
AAAL Conference are to be submitted via our Online Proposal Submission form.
Since you will only be permitted to submit a proposal once, please prepare carefully
in advance:
- Remember that AAAL policies
stipulate that individuals are to submit only one abstract whether
a paper, a poster, or as part of a colloquium and to appear as a presenter
only once on the program, in addition to a possible role as a discussant or
session chair. Do not submit multiple proposals.
- Compile all contact information
(name, mailing address, phone, fax, email, and institutional affiliation)
for all presenters. This includes co-authors of individual papers and all
presenters and discussants in colloquia.
- Establish your AV needs
and special needs, if any.
- For each poster, individual
paper, or paper to be presented within a colloquium, have your title (maximum
10 words) and abstract (maximum 300 words) written, carefully edited, and
saved in electronic format.
- Colloquium organizers
should prepare a statement (maximum 300 words) that explains the theme of
the colloquium, how the individual presentations relate to each other, and
how the time will be allocated.
- Consult the list of Topic
Areas and decide which strand is most appropriate for your proposal.
