2015 Conference: Toronto

The 2015 conference of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) will be held jointly with Association Canadienne de Linguistique Appliquée/Canadian Association of Applied Linguistics (ACLA/CAAL) March 21-24 at the Fairmont Royal York, Toronto, Canada. Nationally and internationally, the AAAL conference has a reputation as a comprehensive and stimulating conference including in-depth colloquia and paper sessions, topical and thought-provoking plenary presentations, excellent book exhibits, and plentiful opportunities for networking. We hope you will consider sharing your work at AAAL 2015.

Important Timelines:

  • June 2, 2014: Begin Accepting Proposals

  • August 26, 2014, 11:59 PM EDT: Proposal Submission Closes

  • October 2014: Registration Opens

  • November 2014: Proposal Acceptances Sent Out

  • November 15, 2014: Deadline for accepted presenters (primary authors) to confirm participation

  • December 15, 2014: Deadline for accepted presenters (primary authors) to register online for conference

  • February 20, 2015: Deadline for all presenters to be registered and paid AND Early Registration Rate Ends AND Deadline to Reserve Hotel Room*

  • March 21-24, 2015: Annual Conference
